SPA CROFT MODELS UPDATE: 6th June 2012 I photographed the Morris 25 Coupé this weekend and work on the master will commence quite soon. I am still researching colour schemes, and in particular Sports Blue. If anyone has any idea what Sports Blue looks like, please let me know The castings for the two tone brown Wolseley Super Six 25hp have been sent to the sprayer, and the parts for electro-plating will be sent to the platers next week. Further to this I shall be receiving the the remaining castings for the remaining colour schemes this week. All colours will be available except the Black/blue version which has sold out. The new colour scheme, two tone brown, will be produced first, and this will be limited to 25 models only. Prices are not known at the moment but are likely to be between £100 and £110. If you would like to add this new Wolseley to your collection, an early reservation is advised as only 15 models will be produced initially, and over half of these have been sold. I am still steadily trawling through the latest batch of painted castings of the Humber Pullman, but I'm almost there. Please note prices are still £97.00 for the single tone, and £99.00 for the two tone models. A few more gold coloured versions will also be available very soon, and the price is £99.00. Models can be reserved for delivery when available, and no deposit is required. Please email me at spacroft@aol.com or telephone on 017723 871780 The next model to become available will be the Vauxhall 25, and this will either appear once the Wolseleys have been completed, or after the new Morris 25 Coupé. It is likely that a further colour will be introduced, but at this stage the colour has not been decided. NOTE FOR COLLECTORS. It has come to our attention that the Humber Pullmans are being purchased by dealers through Ebay, and being sold to collectors at prices up to almost three times the current asking price. We at Spa Croft Models wish it to be known that this is a practice which we are not party to, nor do we condone it, and we will do our utmost to discourage it. The current price of the Humber Pullman is £97-£110. |
